3. PROJECT DESCRIPTION SPECIAL PERMIT to construct a 10'-6" x 26'-6" shelter
in the rear yard of 2814 Tiburon Way. The shelter will have solid walls on two sides,
adjacent to the side and rear property lines; the two remaining sides will be open to
allow convenient access for patio and garden equipment. The shelter will have a flat roof,
with a slight pitch to the back property line; height will vary from 8'-6" to a maximum of
9'-0". A 4' separation will be maintained between the shelter and the back of the existing
house. Code Sec. 25.60.010(14) advises that a special permit is required when an accessory
structure exceeds 50 SF; the proposed shelter will have approx. 290 SF.
