Dear Resident,
One of your neighbors is applying for a Hillside Area Construction Permit to enlarge
their existing residence or to build a new house. The City of Burlingame requires a
Hillside Area Construction Permit for new construction at the following address:

HILLSIDE AREA CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FOR A NEW EXTERIOR
SUNROOM AT 2694 SUMMIT DRIVE, ZONED R-1.
Your property is located within 100 feet of this property. The review criteria used
for a Hillside Area Construction Permit is blockage of distant views from neighboring
properties. As a neighboring property owner you may request this project be
reviewed by the Planning Commission if you believe existing distant views from inside
or outside of your property will be blocked by the proposed construction. If you
would like to request that this project be called up for review, which includes a public
hearing, please submit a written request to the Planning Department by 5:00 P.M.,
within seven days from the postmark of this letter. Unless review of the application
is requested, the Hillside Area Construction Permit will be approved.
