Your request for a Hillside Area Construction Permit was reviewed by property owners within
100 feet, the Planning Commission and the City Council. There was an appeal of the proposed
project filed on October 5, 2015 by an adjacent neighbor. However we received a request for
withdrawal of that appeal on November 12, 2015, therefore your application for a Hillside Area
Construction Permit for a new detached two-car garage and a first floor addition at 2635
Summit Drive, zoned R-1, was approved effective November 13, 2015. The project must be
consistent with the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped September
23, 2015. Any changes to these plans shall be subject to further Hillside Area Construction
Permit procedures.
All site improvements and construction work will require separate application to the Building
Department. This approval is valid for one year during which time a building permit must
be issued. An extension of up to one year may be considered by the Planning Commission if
application is made before the end of the first year.
