Members of the ;ouxoil spoke against the pro- position, particularly in view of the strong opposition from neighboring y'roperty fawners; and asked the:ommissioY to prepare an Emer- eney ordinance to -sustain its policy pending a further study o± the zoning ordinance. At -the conclusion of the joint meeting the Commission re -convened and passed the follow- ing resolutiun: Ce motion was made that the pe petition of Tyr. Laak be dsinied. The motion was carried 3 to 2. P'or. Mr. Coleman, sir. Mitchell, and Miss Rogers. Against: Mr. Kapp, and fir. Macdonald. A Resolution.was passed by unaximous tote recommending that an mergeney Ordinance be prepared by the City vouheil to govern a®rtain changes in the present zoning Ordinance; to include classes "l, "2, and "3, as described on the attached letter to the City c.;ouneil.
