City Council
Burlingame, California:
Gentlemen:
In. view of your desapproval of Motor 4pnrtmants
on the SoutA side of Bayshore Highway as recently
expressed to the Planning Commission, it seems ad-
visable to regroup the Ap,%rtment District; into
sev-3ral zones that would allot the section in i,hich
this particular use would be permitt d.
The ;r'la,nning Commission therefore recommends
that an emergency Ordinance be passed to sustain this
polioy until mature study and final recommendation
can be made.
It is suggested that for the present, the
dpsrtm3nt-District be divided into tnr-e zones, as
f o-1.lows .;
Zone 1-.:band naw in Apartment District fronting
on the ?Torh side ofBs shore Hi; hw-y in bahioh shall
be permitted 4kuto Courts, taotor .Apartments and
similar ista,blishmants for transient acc:ipancy.
