A special meeting of the rlanning commission on
Thursday-eveninL, P'abruary 3, 1938, was held in
the o i ty Hall, .purl i ngame .
This meetiz6 was called for the purpose of holding
final hearing; on tha appiication of ar.s ue--elia L.

located at 308 El Camino Real, Burlingame. notice
of the meeting was duly posted on the Bulletin
Board at the City Hall, and the petitioner notified
thereof.
Mr. Carl Anderson representing Mrs Pinkham, argued
that his Clients property should have been put in
the Commercial Zone at the time the adjacent
property was zoned, in t..at the line should have
been drawn direct to the highway instead of creating
a j og .
He further stat,d that his Client was willing to
place reasonable restrictions on the property to
guard against its use for undesirable purposes.
A motion vo give this feature further consideration
was carried, to come up again on February 17, 1938,
at a special meeting.
Property Owners representing Chapin Avenue spoke i..
favor of business as well as widening and agreed to
appoint a jommittee of five to meet with the
Commission on February 17, for further study of the
proposition.
Members present: J. H. Mitchell, G. W. Coleman,
Mr. Rapp, Miss Janet P. Rogers, Dr. Macomber, Jas
Watson, C. L. Longson, and C. Macdonald. Members
absent; Mayor W. W. Hives and City Attorney J. F.
Davis.,
