A Special meeting of the 2lAnning commission
was held in the amity Hall, rurlingame, on 'lhur-
day evening, .uay Z�, 1938, Present wel-e : Jas. H.
mitchell, uiss .topers, A. J. Papp, .gas. '4atson,
C. L. Longson, and C. Macdonald. Absent were:
mayor Ward, mr. uolemax, Jr. H. Y . uaoomber, and
J. �'. Davis.
This melting was called for the purpose of con-
ducting a final hearing m rezoning from :resident-
ial to Apartments, certain property located in
blacks ,,-12 and j13, Bu.rlingame . Urove; as per ap-
plication filed by .air. �. J. Kelly.
Objectiou to the erectio_l of a three story build-
ing was raised by a.r. ii,. B. 1,c Millan, that such
a wilding would not harmonize with the architect-
ual appearanc . of the locality.
As the difference of opinion between � r. !,,ally and
the ob ject;og could not be reconciled, xir. Melly
was asked to furnish a modified plan of a 1)uplex
which would receive earnest consideration. sr.
belly agreed to see his Lnuilder and. advise further.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P. 111.
