June 30, 1938
The regular meeting of the City Planxing :om-
mission was held at the City Hall, on June 30,
1938. The meeting was walled to order at 7:30
P. M., Jas. H. Mitchell presiding. Other
members present: Coleman, Loagson „ Rapp, Davis,
and Macdonald. Absent were: Rogers,,'Haefmber,
Ward, and Watson.
Mr. Jas. Hill appeared before the Commission
requesting that he be permitted to ereet a
second house on lot J17 Corbett Subdivision,
City of Burlingame; also presented a ;petition
of approved signed by nineteen property owners
in the district. The Commission agreed to hold
a Special Meeting on June 7, for a tentative
hearing on the proposed change of classification
from residential to second 'lassifieatiox.
Representatives from the Associated Uil Cozppany
were present in regard to extension of their
Gas Service L'tation Plant on the South-west
corner of El Camino Real and Broadway. The pre-
sdnt space being inadequate, they propose to
aquire the use of lots 27 and 28,-bloek r'5,
Easton ,addition. The acquisition of which
would permit the improvements desired. The
Commission arranged to hold a tentative hearing
on July 7, to rezone from provisional elassifica-
tion to business on a restricted basis.
It was also arranged to hold a tentative hearing
recommending that the ordinance regulating
Apartment Districts be embodied in Ordinance r227
of the City of Burlingame as a part and parsel of
that Ordinaxas, pursuant to the enabling lot of
1917.
