AN ORDINANCE CONTROLLING THE LOCATION AND
INSTALLATION Of DISH ANTENNAES
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 18.18.060, controlling the installation of dish
ntennaes, is hereby added to the Burlingame Municipal Code to read as follows:
"18 18.060.
Dish or
satellite
antennaes.
apply
1. A dish
or satellite
antenna
shall not be installed or maintai
'.without obtaining a building permit.
2.
Section
18.18.040 shall
apply
to all
such
antennaes.
3.
Such
an
antenna shall
not be installed
without
a special
permit pursuant to Chapter 25.16 of this code if any one of the following exist:
a.) it is more than seven square feet in area;
b.) it is installed more than five (5) feet above ground level;
c.) its location exceeds Mn
height, setback, lot coverage, or
ther limitation on structures;
d.) its location is in required parking, landscaping or open
i;space; or
e.) its location is in a yard or other area adjacent to a street
and
visible therefrom."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published as required by law.
