The stated meeting of the Planning ®ommission of
thf ) City of Burlingame , far the month of f e bruary,
was held in the City Hall on Thursday evening ,
Fe= raary, 27th,1936,at the usual hour of 7:30,P.M.,
j0s.H.Mitohell presiding. Others present: Mayor
0; A,Bmok.H.P.Vollmer,Mrs.Josephine Bigler, Dr.H. Wade
comber, John F.Davis,G.L.Longson, F.D,Anderson

The minutes of the meeting of February ,•Oth.. ,1936
were read and approved as read.
In connection with the application made by Mr.C.H.
Harger at the previous meeting to change the frontage
Of two lots located at Adeline and Vancouvier,the
'hairman advised that Mr.Harger verbally reported
that owing to objections raised by one of the adjoining
Property Owners he wished to withdraw the application.
The application of a proposed subdivision of Block
Bo.28,Lyon and Hoag subdivision of thh'. own :,of
Ba.rlingame,submitted by Mr.C.A.Torrello4sabk which was
tentatively approved by the Commission at the previous
Meeting , dame up for final hearing. A motion that
the finished maps be approved and that the Chairman
and Secretary be authorized to attach their respective
Signature theretq,was carried unanimously.
The Mayor reported that Br.N.A.Bowers had resigned as
a member of the Commission,owing to pressure of business
necessitating his absence from 3urlingame,making it
impossible for him to attend the meetings.
Mrs. Josephine Bigler who had been a Member of the
Planning commission since its inoeption,addressing the
Rayor,asked if she eould be relieved of her duties,as
under existing ctraumstanoes it would be impossible
for her to gfve-�preper .attention to her duties as a
Commissioner. The resignation was.acoepted forthwith,
after whioh the Members expressed appreciation
of the faithful servioe rendered by Mrs .Bi#jar during
the past 6 or 7 years.
The Mao stated he would fill these vacancies soon
as pos isle.
The question of tree planting and other matters were
formally discussed.
