A Special Meeting of the Planning Commission of the City
of Burlingame was held in the City Hall, Burlingame, on
Thursday evening May 21, 1936, at 7:30 P.; M.
Meeting called for the purpose of holding final hearing
on the Petitions of Amy C. Aubury and of Mr. Clay Helsel,
asking that their properties, located at 1145 Laguac and
at 1149 Capuchino respectively be rezoned to Business in
place of Apartments as at present.
In as much as the notice of the meeting intended to be
mailed to the adjoining Property Owners did not reach
them in time for the meeting, final action was deferred
for one week, when the hearing would be resumed.
The Application of Crossways Development Co. submitted
through the Lang Realty Corporation, asking for the zoning
of the Bayshore Highway frontage, from Oak Grove to
Burlingame Avenue, to permit the erection of Apartment
Houses, was tentatively approved, final action to be
taken when the final maps are completed. ,l/
A letter was ordered addressed to Mr. Guptill, President
of the Broadway Development Association, inviting re-
presentatives of the Association to be present at th3 meet-
ing.
In discussing Fire Ordenanoes, it was claimed that some
of the Business Area has no fire restriotions,and, to
clarify the situation, the Secretary was requested to
invite the Fire Chief to be present to get the benefit
of his views in the matter.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at
9:60 P. M.
