The regular monthly ma--Iting of thq fanning Commission
was held in the city Hall,Burlingame on Thursday evening
September,24th,1936. Present James H.Mitchell, Mayor
C.A.Buck,I.P.Vollmer, Miss Janet�P. Rogers,!G.W.Coleman,
City Attorney 4 ohn r .Davis, City _'ngineer. G-A.Colson,
wilding Inspector =games Watson and C.Macdonald.
Acommunication was received from Martin and Company
applying for permission to subdivide lot #35 ,block J 9,
Burlingame Park #2,into two parcels,for the purpose of
building thereon two separate dwellings.
This property is owned by 1_r.Busey who claim:id that on
account of its size he was unable to dispose of it; that it
has an extreme length of 148 feet on Barriolhat ohvenue
with:a refit dtpih:.of ldltfeet,and a fronpage of 69 ft,
6 inches on Cccidental Lvenue,
bjections to dividing th3 property into Two lots having
been raised by some of thi, ndtighuors,the Uormnission decided
to look into the mutter further oefore taking; any action
and arranged to hold a Special meting on October,lst.

Mr.Duncan 'Macpherson spoke at length on the Application
to zone for :apartments ,lot Yo.7,located on Burlingame
Avenue,w(t of El Camino .Real. The Commission intimated
that the matter would be given further consideration at a
later date.
Atrs.Kreh submitte`_ a comunication in regard. to the water
conditions on lot block i o.9,Burlinga.me Terraca,claiming
that the only solution to overcome the condition would be to
raise the building aid cament the basement. Permission was
asked to do this and also at the same time add an apartment.
The matter was taken under consideration,and. building Inspector
was requested to make a survey of the situation. Idention
was made of a 10 ft fence having been erected on one side of
the property,which was objectionable. It was the consensus
of opinion that a height of 6 ft, should be the limit.
Tir.W.O.La,ng asked the Commission for tentative approval of a
proposed raarrangament of Streets in Oak Grove i:;anor,preliminary
to preparing final plans. Certain suggestions were made in
regard to blind and Streets,by providing for turn-around,to
which Mr.Lang advised would be given consideration.
