RESOLUTION SUPPORTING HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION

RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame,
California, as follows:
WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the various highway projects
recommended for use of Federal Aid Urban Funds, as well as those freeway
projects being considered by CALTRANS; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that several of such
projects be recommended and supported by this City Council as being of partic-
ular necessity for the City of Burlingame;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED that this City Council recommends
and supports the project for the reconstruction of Bayshore Highway from
Airport Boulevard to Millbrae city limits. This Council further supports
the City of San Mateo, County of San Mateo, and District 4 CALTRANS in
nominating the Peninsula Avenue interchange project for use of non -interstate
freeway funds and Route 380 connection to the Airport for interstate freeway
funds, excluding any connections to Airports western lands.
