RESOLUTION NO. 60 -82
RESOLUTION REGARDING CITY OF BURLINGAME PRELIMINARY
HISTORIC INVENTORY
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame,
WHEREAS, this Council directed staff to work with inter-
ested citizens and residents of the City to develop a preliminary
inventory of sites and structures within the City which were
historically important; and
WHEREAS, a group of twenty-five (25) citizens and resident
met over a six month period and established a local definition of
historic; refined criteria for selecting sites and structures of
historic importance in Burlingame; researched identified sites
and, based on the research and criteria, selected twenty-eight
(28) sites and structures as being historically significant and
(suitable for placement on the preliminary historic inventorv;and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
to allow citizen and resident comment on the twenty-eight (28)
sites and structures selected, and has transmitted that prelimin-
ary historical inventory to this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is HEREBY RESOLVED that the Planning
Commission and Citizens Committee are commended for their efforts
in preparing the preliminary historic inventory for the City of
Burlingame and the City Clerk is directed to keep a copy of it on
file for the information of the interested persons.

certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular
(meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of Sebtember,198;
and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
