RESOLUTION NO.59-82
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
1982 STORM DAMAGE AND CREEK REPAIR - PROJECT x`240
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for the 1982 Storm Damage and Creek Repair, Project
#240; and
WHEREAS, on August 26, 1982, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR H. SMITH ENGINEERING, INC. OF BURLINGAME
submitted the lowest bid for the job in the amount of $106,895.50
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED
that the bid of ARTHUR H. SMITH ENGINEERING, INC. OF BURLINGAM,E
for said Project #240 in the amount of $106,895.50 be, and the
same hereby is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and lie hereby is, authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve
the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council held on the 7th
day of September, 1982, and was adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: AMSTRUP, BARTON, CROSBY, MANGINI, MARTIN
NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE
ABSENT:COUNCILMEN: NONE L��
