CEPTING BID FOR CAL TRANS AND CITY

WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for the Parking Lot Resurfacing - Job #205, and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1982, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, GRADE WAY CONSTRUCTION OF FREMONT submitted the
lowest bid for the job in the amount of $33,859.96;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED,
that the bid of GRADE WAY CONSTRUCTION OF FREMONT for said Job
#205 in the amount of $33,859.96 be and the same hereby is accepte(
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City
Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the
faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond req-
uired to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council held on the 16th
day of August 1982, and was adopted thereafter by the
following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: BARTON, MARTIN;
