ORDERING DESTRUCTION OF NOXIOUS
AND DANGEROUS WEEDS AND RUBBISH
A NUISANCE IN THE CITY OF BUR,LINGAME
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingam
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
on May 17, 1982, at a regular meeting of said Council, adopted a
resolution declaring certain weeds growing upon various streets,
squares, lanes, alleys, avenues, courts and places within said
municipality, and upon private property within said municipality,
which said weeds bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and are
otherwise obnoxious and dangerous, and all rubbish, refuse and dir
on parkways, sidewalks or private property, to constitute a public
nuisance; and
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed Monday, the 7th day
of June, 1982, at the hour of eight o'clock p.m, of said day, at
the City Council Chambers of the City of Burlingame, located in
the City Hall of said City, as the time and place when objections
to the proposed removal of such weeds shall be heard and given due
consideration; and
WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said hearing has
been given for the time and in the manner and form provided by law
and
WHEREAS, it appears that no objections to the propose
removal of such weeds were presented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Burlingame that the City Engineer of the City of
Burlingame be, and he hereby is, directed to remove and eradicate
such weeds as described in the Resolution of Intention passed and
adopted on May 17, 1982.
And said City Engineer of said City of Burlingame is
hereby authorized and directed to fix the costs of such removal
and eradication of weeds, and in the event of any delinquency of
the payment of any of said costs to report the same to the City
Clerk of the City of Burlingame so that the costs may be collected
in the manner provided by law.

regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of June,
1982, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
