Date: 06.04.02 iW�� Margar t Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION, DESIGN REVIEW AND SPECIAL PERMIT FOR HEIGHT RESOLUTION 48-2002 RESOLVED, by the Plarming Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for design review and special permit for height for a first and second story addition at 1128 Cambridge Road, zoned R-1, Greg and Tricia Hagey, property owners, APN: 025-252-090; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on May 28, 2002, at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and continents received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and categorical exemption, per CEQA Article 19, Section 15301 Class 1(e)(2) - additions to existing structures provided the addition will not result in an increase of more than 10,000 SF in areas where all public services and facilities are available and the area in which the project is located is not environmentally sensitive, is hereby approved. 2. Said design review and special pennit is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such design review and special permit are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. CHAIRMAN I, Ralph Osterlipg, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Plaiuung Commission held on the 28th day of May, 2002 , by the following vote: AYES: COMMISSIONERS: Auran, Bojues, Brownrigg, Keele, Keighran, and Vistica NOES: COMMISSIONERS: NONE ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: Osterling SECRVARY EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval for categorical exemption, design review and special permit for height. 1128 CAMBRIDGE ROAD effective JUNE 3, 2002 that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department date stamped May 20, 2002, sheets 1-12, and that any changes to the footprint or floor area of the building shall require and amendment to this permit; that any changes to the size or envelope of the first or second floors, which would include adding or enlarging a dormer(s), moving or changing windows and architectural features or changing the roof height or pitch, shall be subject to design review; 3. that the conditions of the City Engineer's and Recycling Specialist's February 11, 2002, memos shall be met; 4. that the project shall comply with the Construction and Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance which requires affected demolition, new construction and alteration projects to submit a Waste Reduction Plan and meet recycling requirements; any partial or full demolition of a structure, interior or exterior, shall require a demolition permit; 5. that the door at the east elevation of the detached garage shall be an automatic door; and 6. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the California Building Code and California Fire Code, 1998 edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
