RESOLUTION 088-2003
RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION,
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, LANDSCAPING AND PARKING VARIANCES
RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for
conditional use permit, landscaping and parking variances for sales and installation of mobility devices in
vehicles at 810 Stanton Road, zoned O-M, Alan D. and Connie J. Maltin, property owners APN: 026-
302-540;
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on
October 14, 2003, at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials
and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that:
On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments
received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial
evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment,
and categorical exerription, per CEQA Article 19. Section: 15301 - Existing facilities,
Class l(a), interior or exterior alterations involving such things as interior partitions,
plumbing, and electrical conveyances.
2. Said conditional use permit, landscaping and parking variances for a sales and installation
of mobility devices are approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto. Findings for such'conditional use permit and variances are set forth in the minutes
and recording of said meeting.
It is further directed' that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official
records of the County of San Mateo. %

Conditions of approval for categorical exemption, conditional use permit, landscaping and parking
variances.

effective October 24, 2003
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and
date stamped August 26, 2003, sif&plan and floor plan; with a total of 6 on -site parking spaces
and 220 SF of on -site landscaping;
2. that the building shall have 897 SF of.office, 1685 SF of display (sales area) and 3915 SF of
work area, any change to this configuration shall be reviewed by the Planning Department and
may require Planning Commission review and approval;
that the maximum number of employees on site at any one time will be 4 persons, including the
business owner and/or manager;
4. that all signage shall require a separate permit from the Planning and Building Departments;
5. that any improvements for the use shall meet all California Building and Fire Codes, 2001
Edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
