HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 016-20251 RESOLUTION NO. 016-2025 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AND EDWARD R. BACON COMPANY, INCREASING THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY $55,000, FOR A NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $201,010 WHEREAS, on October 10, 2023, the City of Burlingame and Edward R. Bacon Company executed an Agreement for emergency generator services and as-needed repair services (Agreement) in a not-to-exceed amount of $146,010 for a three-year period ending on June 30, 2026, with the option to extend for an additional two years if elected by the City; and WHEREAS, the original Agreement’s as-needed repair services’ not-to-exceed amount of $10,000 for FY 24-25 needs to be increased by $15,000, bringing the total not-to-exceed amount to $25,000 to account for unanticipated emergency generator repairs; and WHEREAS, the original Agreement’s as-needed repair services’ not-to-exceed amount of $10,000 for FY 25-26 needs to be increased by $40,000, bringing the total not-to-exceed amount to $50,000 for additional emergency generator repair needs; and WHEREAS, staff is requesting an amendment to the Agreement to increase the maximum compensation by a total of $55,000, for a not-to-exceed amount of $201,010, for emergency generator services and as-needed repair services, for a three-year period ending on June 30, 2026, with the option to extend for an additional two years if elected by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED: 1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to enter into Amendment No. 1 to the Emergency Generator Services Agreement with Edward R. Bacon Company in the form attached hereto, to increase the FY 2024-25 as-needed repair services amount by $15,000, not to exceed $25,000, to account for unanticipated emergency generator repairs, and to increase the FY 2025-26 as-needed repair services amount by $40,000, not to exceed $50,000, for additional emergency generator repairs. The maximum compensation will be increased to a not-to-exceed amount of $201,010 for emergency generator services and as-needed repair services for a three-year period ending on June 30, 2026, with the option to extend for an additional two years if elected by the City. 2.
