HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 033-19834/26/83 f RESOLUTION NO. 33-83 RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON SEWER EASEMENT WITHIN MILLS CANYON RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame: 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of this Council to vacate and abandon that certain existing easement which is situated in the City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of California, and is particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto, incorporated herein and made a part of this resolution by reference Said sewer reserve is located in that area known as Mills Canyon. 2. The City Council hereby elects to proceed under the Public Streets, Highways and the Public Service Easements Vacation Law, Sections 8300 et seq. of the .Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday the 6th day of June, 1983, at 8:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers of the City Council in the City Hall, 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing of persons interested in the oroposed vacation of said sewer easement. 4. The Clerk of said City shall cause this resolution to be published twice in the BOUTIQUE & VILLAGER, a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of San Mateo and circulated in said City, which said newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose. 5. As notice of said vacation the City Engineer of said City shall cause copies of this resolution to be posted conspicuously along the line of said sewer easements proposed to be vacated. They shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart and at least three (3) copies of this resolution shall be so posted. Mayor I, EVELYN H. EXCEPTION: Excepting therefrom those portions of the above described easement lying within Lots 4, 5 and 6 as shown on that certain map entitled "Viewland Estates, Burlingame, California," filed for record in the office of the County Recorder on the 20th day of December, 1968, in Volume 68 of Maps, pages 30 and 31, San Mateo County Records.
