Date: RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND VARIANCE RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a Categorical Exemption has been prepared and application has been made for Sign Variances for sign height and signs exceeding vertical dimension of sign band and approval of signs APN: 029-204-250; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on March 28, 2022 at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this Commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and categorical exemption, per CEQA Section 15311 - Accessory Structures Class 11(a) consists of construction, or placement of minor structures accessory to existing commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities, including but not limited to: (a) On premise signs, is hereby approved. 2. Said Variances are approved subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such Variances are set forth in the staff report, minutes, and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution ge�cectei the fficial records of the County of San Mateo. %( l UU�VI� VD� I, ,Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 28th day of March 2022 by the following vote: ketary S EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of Approval for Categorical Exemption and Variances 220 Park Road Effective April 7, 2022 Page 1 1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Division date stamped March 18, 2022, sheets 1.01 through 1.09, 2.01 through 2.03, 3.01 and 3.02; 2. that any increase in the number, letter height, sign height, location or area of the signs shall be subject to Planning Division or Planning Commission review (may require amendment to Sign Variance); 3. that if the structure is demolished or the envelope changed at a later date the Sign Variance associated with the building, as well as any other exceptions to the code granted here will become void; and that the project shall meet all the requirements of the California Building and Uniform Fire Codes, in effect at time of building permit submittal, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
