AWARDING CONTRACT
WASTEWATER TREATMENT - AERATION IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT #221
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for the Wastewater Treatment - Aeration Improvements,
Project No. 221, and
WHEREAS, on March 15, 1983, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, C. W. ROEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY of Danville
for said Project No. 221 submitted the lowest bid for the job in
the amount of $2,530,686.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED,
that the bid of C.W. ROEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for said Project
No. 221 in the amount of $2,530,686.00 be, and the same is
hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the Cit
of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City
Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the
faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor. f

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council held on the 18th
day of April, 1983, and was adopted thereafter by the following
vote:
