RE: Airport Boulevard Rehabilitation Project/
Additional Landscape Architectural Services
Dear Frank:
r
November 27, 1984
Pursuant to our conversation several days ago and our subsequent phone calls, we are
providing the following summary of services that should be added to our current
consulting contract. These services are required as a result of expanding the two
lane alternative into a four lane alternative in an effort to obtain other agencies'
approvals of the entire project at this early stage.
We would develop schematic cross sections as well as an illustrative plan view
similar to the documents we have prepared to date for the two lane facility. During
the course of designing this ultimate alternative, we will collaborate with your
other engineers to provide bikeway and pedestrian pathways, proposed long term
landscaping solutions, interim landscaping solutions as may be necessary to accom-
modate phasing, and other landscape related items. This alternative would also
include planting and other measures as necessary within Bayside Park.
After a review of our estimated manhours, we would recommend that you budget
approximately $2,300 to $2,700 for the above services. We would prefer to work on
an hourly basis at this time, not to exceed those amounts which would permit us to
possibly save some costs on behalf of the City.
If you need more information or clarification on any of these services, please feel
free to call as soon as possible.
