V. ITEMS FOR ACTION
1. Special Permit to allow installation of a 12' diameter dish
antenna at 1080 Carolan Avenue (APN 026-231-280), zoned R-4,
by Premier Communications Network (applicant) with Friedkin-
Becker (property owner).
2. Special Permit to allow flower sales at 290 California Drive
(site of the Southern Pacific train depot) which is
unclassified land (SBE 872-41-3), by Ivan Hugo Villa II for
Flowers by the 2nd's (applicant) with State Department of
Transportation (landowner) (continued from 10/27/86).
3. Special Permit to allow a light auto repair use in the C-1
zone at 1875 California Drive (APN 025-150-010), by M. I.
Glad, Inc. (applicant), also with Wm. H. Slautterback of
Jiffy Lube and with Clayton Del Secco, et al (property
owner).
4. Amendment of the conditions of approval for a directory sign
located at a Chapin Avenue parking lot entrance used by
tenants at 1426-1462 Burlingame Avenue.
VI. CONSENT ITEMS
5. Minor Modification to allow a 1,004 SF family room/bedroom
addition at 228 Dwight Road where on -site parking does not
meet code standards for addition of a bedroom.
6. Minor Modification to allow a 1,023 SF family room/bedroom
addition at 479 Chatham Avenue where on -site parking does
not meet code standards for addition of a bedroom.
VII. ITEMS FOR STUDY
7. Special Permit to allow completion of a garage at
1337 Bernal Avenue which would be 15'-9" high rather than
14' as permitted by the zoninq code (APN 026-064-040), zoned
R-1, by Robert Davenport (applicant and property owner).

8. Amendment of the sign program approved for Crosby Commons at
1375 Burlingame Avenue (APN 029-202-010), zoned C-1, by Kemp
& Kemp Architects for Continental Savings (property owner).
9. Special Permit to allow a 6' diameter dish antenna on top of
the building at 1501 Bayshore Highway (APN 026-321-440),
zoned M-1, by Joe Ferem (applicant) for Mahler Investors
Ltd. (property owner).
10. Special Permit to allow a 4,040 SF two-story addition to the
racquetball club at 1730 Rollins Road (APN 025-261-160/
025-262-280), zoned M-1, by Arthur Michael, Sr. (property
owner and applicant).
VIII. PLANNER REPORTS
- Draft EIR-66P for the sealing of the sanitary landfill.
- Review of the Special Permit for auto detailing at 70 Star
Way.
- Review of the Special Permit for a courier operation at
845 Cowan Road.
- Review of the regular November 3, 1986 City Council
meeting.
