November 14, 1983
1. Special Permit to allow a preschool operation out of the present Our Lady
of Angels Elementary School facilities at 1328 Cabrillo Avenue (APN 026-061-
180/010), zoned R-1, by Liz Watson and Karen Schoknecht for Our Lady of
Angels Pre -School.
2. Special Permit to allow an existing 3,490 SF office building at 1214 Donnelly
Avenue to be used as a center for psychological counseling (APN 029-151-150),
zoned C-1, by Robert Miller for Nor Pen Investment & Loan (applicant and
property owner).
3. Special Permit to allow a courier service to operate from an office in the
M-1 District at 819 Mitten Road (APN 024-403-360), by Action Dispatched
Couriers (applicant) with B-S-K Associates (property owner).
4. Special Permit to allow a car rental agency in the M-1 District at 1322 Marsten
Road (APN 026-134-110), by Golden West Rent-A-Car (applicant) with Frank Walch
(property owner).
5. General Plan Amendment to change lands at 1508 Adeline Drive and 1501 El Camino
Real to shopping and service use designation rather than medium high residential
use designation; by Marmora Terrell and Nancy Kurkjian (applicants and
property owners).
6. Rezone of lands at 1508 Adeline Drive and 1501 El Camino Real from R-3 (multi-
family residential) to C-1 (retail commercial) (APN 026-011-030/020), by
Marmora Terrell and Nancy Kurkjian (applicants and property owners).
7. Special Permit to allow construction of a 305 room hotel at 835 Airport
Boulevard which exceeds the code standards for height (89'-2" is proposed)
(APN 026-343-360/370/380/390), zoned C-4, by Gestec Properties for Ibis
Bayview, Ltd. (applicant and property owner).
8. Review and possible revocation of the November 27, 1978 Use Permit for
Peninsula Sports Center at 1239 Rollins Road.
