1. Three Variances from required setback and parking requirements to allow a second
floor addition at 4 East Carol Avenue (APN 028-303-050), zoned R-1, by Wayne
Clapper (architect) with David Behling (property owner and applicant).
2. Four Variances to allow the remodeling of a non -conforming home at 1109 Mills
Avenue (the existing home does not maintain code standards for side setback,
side or rear yards, or lot coverage) (APN 026-072-300), zoned R-1, by John and
Lois Fragomeni (applicant and property owner).
3. Review of the April 12, 1982 Special Permit for D & M Towing service at 1250
Rollins Road (APN 026-134-090), zoned M-1, by Marc Rochette of D & M Towing
(continued from 7/25/83).
4. Special Permit to allow a 3,800 SF office -shop expansion at 1657-63 Rollins
Road (APN 025-280-370), zoned M-1, by Richard Handlen (architect) for Clemco
Properties (applicant and property owner).
5. Special Permit to construct a 300-room hotel and 19,000 SF of restaurant space
at 450 Airport Boulevard which does not comply with code requirements for
Apparent Width (APN 026-363-520/530/540/550/560/570), zoned C-4, by Gale Kober
Associates (architect and applicant) with the State of California (property
owner).-
6. Variance to construct a 300-room hotel and 19,000 SF of restaurant space at
450 Airport Boulevard which will reduce the number of parking spaces on the
adjacent "boat -restaurant" site to less than the 58 required (APN 026-363-520/
530/540/550/560/570), zoned C-4, by Gale Kober Associates (architect and appli-
cant) with the State of California (property owner).
VI. ITEMS FOR STUDY
7. Tentative and Final Parcel Map to combine Lots 32, 33, 34 (1550 Rollins Road)
and a portion of Lot 38 (S.P.R.R. tract) in Millsdale Industrial Park No. 5
(APN 025-272-130), zoned M-1, by Howard Hickey (engineer) for Winston Management
Investment and Southern Pacific (applicants and property owners).
