1. Amendment of the 6/13/83 Variance for a garage addition at 1452 Benito
Avenue to allow changes in the approved design, by Richard Trudell
(applicant and property owner).
2. Fence Exception to allow an 8' fence at 1208 Drake Avenue (APN 026-171-
180), zoned R-1, by Philip and Barbara Lyons (applicants and property
owners).
3. Request for extension of the approved Tentative Subdivision Map for a
six unit condominium at 1008 E1 Camino Real, by Tyrone Construction Co.
(applicant and property owner).
4. Variance to allow a proposed bay window to extend 2'-5" into the required
15' front setback at 24 Anita Road (APN 024-291-290), zoned R-3, by
Patrick Mannion (applicant and property owner).
5. Five Permits to allow construction of a four unit condominium at
1114 Paloma Avenue (APN 026-193-160), zoned R-3, by Phillip Dixon
(architect) for Paloma Associates (applicants) with Wells Fargo Bank
Trust Department (property administrator):
A. Condominium Permit to allow four condominium units.
B. Special Permit to allow 35'-8" height (35' maximum permitted).
C. Variance to exceed 50% lot coverage (53.3% proposed).
D. Variance to allow a parking stall in the rear yard area which
requires a standard sized car more than five maneuvers to exit.
E. Variance to allow 27 linear feet of the turning aisle behind the
stall in the rear yard area to be only 24' wide rather than 28'
as required.
6. Tentative Parcel Map for construction of a four unit condominium at
1114 Paloma Avenue (Lot 17, Block 3, Easton Addition) (APN 026-193-160),
zoned R-3, by Brian-Kangas-Foulk & Associates (engineer) for Paloma
Associates (applicant) with Wells Fargo Bank (property administrator).

7. Request to amend the 1/24/83 Master Sign Permit for the building at
1200 Howard Avenue to allow a ground sign (APN 029-204-120), zoned C-1,
by King Yee (applicant and property owner).
8. Sign Exception to allow an awning sign at 1211 Burlingame Avenue which
exceeds the Sign Code limitations (APN 029-204-050), zoned C-1, by
Lynae Folks (applicant) with Joseph Karp (property owner) (continued
from 8/8/83).
9. Sign Exception to allow awning signs at 1107 California Drive which
exceed the Sign Code (APN 026-191-270), zoned C-2, by Richard Kerwin
(applicant and property owner).
10. Sign Exception to allow two signs at 241 California Drive which exceed
the Sign Code (APN 029-211-070), zoned C-2, by Don Joost and Jim Appenrodt
(applicants) with Jack Casey (property owner).
11. Request for amendment of the Special Permit for a deli at 840 Stanton
Road to allow seating in the front setback area, by Patricia Keller for
Botrus Zaarour (applicant) (referred by the Council to the Commission
at their 7/5/83 meeting).
12. Review of the November 27, 1978 Special Permit to allow Peninsula Sports
Center at 1239 Rollins Road, by Ann Mori (business owner and applicant)
(continued from 8/8/83).

(Lot 1, Block 6, Burlingame Land Co.) (APN 029-131-110), zoned R-3, by
Dominion Engineering Co. for Sarti and Sarti, Inc. (property owner and
applicant).
