ITEMS FOR ACTION 1. Public Hearing of Planning Commission Resolution recommending amendment of the Land Use Element of the Burlingame General Plan. 2. Recommendation of EIR-59P to the City Council for the proposed 310 room Four Seas Hotel project at 835 Airport Boulevard, by Environmental Science Associates, Inc. (consultant). 3. Variance to allow an addition to the home at 221 Bayswater Avenue which has a nonconforming side and rear yard (APN 029-303-010), zoned R-1, by Gary and Judith Hellman (property owners and applicants). 4. Review of Carden Private School at 2109 Broadway as required by the Planning Commission at their April 12, 1982 meeting, with Beryl Olmstead (school director). 5. Sign Exception to allow an awning sign at 231 Park Road which exceeds the Sign Code limitations (APN 029-203-050), zoned C-1, by Darlene Sweeney (applicant) with Henry Horn and Sons (property owner). 6. Sign Exception to allow an awning sign at 1208 Donnelly Avenue which exceeds the limitations of the Sign Code (APN 029-151-130), zoned C-1, by Judee Brasesco and Anthony Awning Co. (applicant) with Barbara Day (property owner). 7. Sign Exception to allow two awning signs at 327 Lorton Avenue which exceed the Sign Code limitations and to allow an awning to extend more than 4'-0" over the public widewalk (APN 029-151-130), zoned C-1, by Thomas Vannoni (applicant) with Barbara Day (property owner). 8. Public Hearing on Draft Ordinance establishing a limitation on retail food establishments in the M-1 zone. 9. Tentative and Final Parcel Map to combine lots at 477 Airport Boulevard (APN 026-363-260/430/440/450/460) (Parcels B and E, Lots 14, 15 and 16, Block 7, Anza Airport Park), by Howard Hickey (engineer) for Owen Development Company (property owner). -2- VI. Special Permit to establish a pre-school day care program in an existing building at 1505 Sherman Avenue on the Trinity Lutheran Church site (APN 026-154-220), zoned R-3, by Trinity Lutheran Church (applicant and property owner). 11. Special Permit to allow an office addition in an existing warehouse at 340 Beach Road (APN 026-332-080), zoned M-1, by Phil Hyland (architect) for TPS Aviation Inc. 12. Sign Exception to erect signs at 600 Airport Boulevard which exceed the Sign Code limitations for the C-4 District (APN 026-361-230) by Holiday Inns, Inc. (applicant and property owner). 13. Special Permit to allow a rental car facility at 1470 Bayshore Highway (APN 026-113-040/130/160/400), zoned C-4, by William Nesbitt for Alamo Rent A Car Inc. (applicant) with Wm. F.
