1. Public Hearing to consider Draft EIR-61P for the proposed
800 room Hyatt Regency Hotel at 1333 Bayshore Highway, by
Environmental Science Associates, Inc., consultant for
Hyatt Corporation (applicant and property owner).
VI. ITEMS FOR ACTION
2. Public Hearing to consider General Plan Amendment No. 6 and
Resolution 2-84 making recommendations on the General Plan
Amendment to the City Council.
3. Parking Variance to allow a 700 SF addition to an existing
commercial building at 1127 Chula Vista Avenue which does
not comply with off-street parking requirements (APN 026-
192-030), zoned C-1, by Eugene Klein (applicant and
property owner).
4. Sign Exception to allow additional signs at 198 California
Drive where existing signs already exceed the permitted
amount and number of signs permitted (APN 029-233-010),
zoned C-2, by Ad -Co Signs for Arata Subaru (property owner
and applicant) (APPLICATION WITHDRAWN).
5. Sign Exception to allow a wall sign at 533 Airport
Boulevard which exceeds sign code limits (APN 026-363-
250), zoned C-4, by GTE Sprint (applicant) with West Coast
Properties (property owner).
6. Sign Exception to allow a wall sign at 800 Airport
Boulevard which exceeds sign code limits (APN 026-342-
310), zoned C-4, by GTE Sprint (applicant) with Hillsboro
Properties (property owner).

7. Special Permit to operate a Montessori School in a portion
of the Franklin Elementary School facilities at 2303
Trousdale Drive, zoned R-1, (APN 025-130-050), by Lynette
Muhic and Leslie Kappeler (applicants) with the Burlingame
School District (property owner).

8. Parking Variance to allow the relocation of existing
maintenance facilities from a privately owned building on
an adjacent lot to a parking area beneath one of the
apartment buildings at 1080 Carolan Avenue (APN 026-231-
280), zoned R-4, by CNR Associates, Inc. (project
consultant) with Northpark Properties (property owner).
9. Amendment of the July 19, 1983 Special Permit for truck
storage at 1645 Rollins Road to allow that use to continue
on site (APN 025-280-390/400), zoned M-1, by Star
Excavation, Inc. (applicant) with Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc.
(property owner).
10. Special Permit to allow an accupressure massage service
within an existing office building in the C-4 district at
1290 Bayshore Highway (APN 026-142-110), by Natasha Shih
(applicant) with 1290 Old Bayshore Corp. (property owner).
