1. Two Variances to allow a bedroom addition at 909 Rose Court
which does not provide 2 off-street parking spaces or
maintain a 15' rear yard setback (APN 026-251-216), zoned
R-1, by Richard and Judy Johnson (applicants) with John B.
Lewis (applicant's father and property owner).
2. Fence Exception to allow construction of an 8' fence,
exceeding the 6' height limit, at 1457 Bellevue Avenue #3
(APN 111-035-030), zoned R-4, by Porter/Steinwedell
(architect) for Dale McClanahan (applicant and property
owner) with Bellevue Associates (Homeowners Association).
3. Variance to add two 1-bedroom apartments over an existing
apartment at 112 Anita Road which has existing,
nonconforming parking (APN 029-271-150), zoned R-3, by
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Karasick (property owners and
applicants).
4. Special Permit to allow a 1600 SF office addition to an
existing building at 40 Edwards Court in which more than
20% of the gross floor area is used for office purposes
and a parking variance for employee parking (APN
026-102-070), zoned M-1, by National Car Rental System,
Inc. (property owner and applicant).
5. Public Hearing for portions of the May, '1984 General
Plan Amendment.
VI. ITEMS FOR STUDY
6. Parking Variance to allow a 700 SF addition to an existing
commercial building at 1127 Chula Vista .Avenue which does
not comply with off-street parking requirements (APN
026-192-030), zoned C-1, by Eugene Klein (applicant and
property owner).

7. Sign Exception to allow additional signs at 198 California
Drive where existing signs already exceed the permitted
amount and number of signs permitted (APN 029-233-010),
zoned C-2, by Ad -Co Signs for Arata Subaru (property owner
and applicant).
8. Sign Exception to allow a wall sign at 533 Airport
Boulevard which exceeds sign code limits (APN
026-363-250), zoned C-4, by GTE Sprint (applicant) with
West Coast Properties (property owner).
9. Sign Exception to allow a wall sign at 800 Airport
Boulevard which exceeds sign code limits (APN
026-342-310), zoned C-4, by GTE Sprint (applicant) with
Hillsboro Properties (property owner).
VII. OTHER ITEMS
10. Review of the proposed elimination of the security gate
shown on approved plans for the 18 unit condominium at
1500 Sherman Avenue.
11. Review of proposed plan changes to a 15 unit residential
condominium at 30 Lorton Avenue.
