February 14, 1984
1. Variance to allow construction of a garage/storage structure at 232 Stanley
Road which maintains only a 1' side yard (APN 029-262-230), by Paul Hackleman
and Rebecca Haseleu (applicants and property owners).
2. Variance to allow the top 3' of a sub -grade garage structure to extend into
required side and rear yard areas at 1221 Oak Grove Avenue (APN 029-131-110),
zoned R-3, by Dominion-Stoppa (engineer/architect) for Sarti & Sarti, Inc.
(property owner).
3. Parking Variance to allow a new 6,570 SF commercial structure at 1199 Broadway
with only eight on -site parking spaces rather than 17 as required (APN 026-
192-220), zoned C-1, by Garbis Bezdjian (property owner and applicant).
4. Sign Exception to allow an awning sign at 1109 Burlingame Avenue which
exceeds Sign Code limitations (APN 029-211-010), zoned C-1, by Joan.Leong
(applicant) with Dorothy Hoag (property owner) (WITHDRAWN BY APPLICANT).
VI. ITEMS FOR STUDY
5. Two Variances from off-street parking standards and minimum side yard
requirements to divide an existing two -bedroom unit into two one -bedroom
units at 1466 Bellevue Avenue (APN 029-111-170/210), zoned R-3, by Robison
Construction for Carolyn Meiswinkel (applicant and property owner).
6. Variance to create a new lot at 1133 Palm Drive which is only 3,167 SF
in area rather than 5,000 SF as the minimum required (APN 029-051-370),
zoned R-1, by Erich Bremer (applicant and property owner).
7. Tentative and Final Subdivision Map to split a lot at 1133 Palm Drive into
two lots (Lot 18 and portion of Lot 22, Block 12, Willborough Place RSM
19/56), by Wm. Wright (surveyor) for Erich Bremer (applicant and property
owner).
8. Rezone of a 3.4 acre parcel at 3155 Frontera Way from R-1 to R-3 in order
to bring the zoning map (shown as R-1) into conformance with the General
Plan (site designated R-3) (APN 025-320-220), by D. Pringle for Simba
Group (applicant and property owner).

9. Special Permit to allow a one -bedroom penthouse apartment at the fourth
floor level of a structure at 3155 Frontera Way which will exceed 35' from
top of curb (APN 025-320-220), by D. Pringle for Simba Group (applicant
and property owner).

10. Sign Exception to allow signs at 321 Primrose Road which exceed Sign Code
limitations (APN 029-122-160), zoned C-1, by Robert Sutter (applicant) with
Geddling & Burk, Inc. (property owner).
