1. Two Special Permits to construct a garage/storage structure
at 1204 Palm Drive (APN 029-016-120), zoned R-1, by Hagop
and Esther Plavjian (applicants and property owners):
a. to allow a 13'-0" plate line (10'-0" maximum allowed);
b. to allow eaves to extend into the 4' minimum separation
area between structures.
2. Variance to construct a garage/storage structure at 1204
Palm Drive which causes lot coverage to exceed 40% (47.2%
proposed) (APN 029-016-120), zoned R-1, by Hagop and Esther
Plavjian (applicants and property owners).
3. Amendment of the Master Sign Permit for the gas station at
1000 Broadway to erect a 25 SF wall sign (APN 026-131-170),
zoned C-2, by Permit Service (applicant) for Arco Oil
(property owner).
4. Sign Exception to allow a second pole sign at 1200 Bayshore
Highway which exceeds the Sign Code limits for number and
amount of signs (APN 026-142-120), zoned C-4, by Permit
Service (applicant) for !Mobil Oil (property owner).
5. Special Permit to construct ±965 SF of new office space at
1510 Rollins Road where total office area already exceeds
20% of the gross floor area (APN 025-273-080), zoned M-1, by
Gourmet Express (applicant) with Rollins Road Co. (property
owner).
VI. ITEMS FOR STUDY
6. General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of
a portion of the property at 1221 Bayswater Avenue from
shopping and service commercial to high density residential
(APN 029-225-010/240, Lots 13 and 14, Block 8, Polo Field
Subdivision), by Bay Park Associates (applicant) with
William J. and Robert A. Gilmartin (property owners).

7. Rezone of a portion of the property at 1221 Bayswater Avenue
from C-1 (retail commercial) to R-4 (high density residen-
tial) (APN 029-225-010/240, Lots 13 and 14, Block 8, Polo
Field Subdivision), by Bay Park Associates (applicant) with
William J. and Robert A. Gilmartin (property owners).
8. Two Special Permits for a 110 unit senior residential
facility at 1221 Bayswater Avenue (APN 029-225-010/020/
030//050/240), by Hardison, Komatsu, Ivelich & Tucker
(architects) and Bay Park Associates (applicant) with
William J. and Robert A. Gilmartin (property owners):
A. to allow a group residential facility.
B. to exceed 35' in height.
9. Special Permit for a 570 SF addition at 1590 Bayshore
Highway which adds 8'-6" to the building width resulting
in 70% view obstruction (60% maximum allowed) (APN 026-
282-180), zoned C-4, by Patrick O'Daly for El Torito La
Fiesta (property owner and applicant).
10. Amendment of the 11/15/82 Special Permit for a deli to allow
a 525 SF expansion and addition of customer seating at 801
Mahler Road (APN 026-322-150), zoned M-1, by Paul Lee
(applicant) with Charles C. & G. N. Gensler (property
owners).
11. Amendment of the 7/24/78 Special Permit for a racquetball
club at 1718 Rollins Road to allow a 4,690 SF lap pool
addition (APN 025-262-040/050/060/070), zoned M-1, by Royal
Racquet Club (applicant) with The 1718 Rollins Road
Burlingame Ptn. (property owner).
12. Variance to allow a greater number of compact parking stalls
to be added at 1718 Rollins Road than is allowed by code
(APN 025-262-040/050/060/070), zoned M-1, by Royal Racquet
Club (applicant) with The 1718 Rollins Road Burlingame Ptn.
(property owner).
