1. Recommendation of EIR-63P for the office/auto retail
conversion of the warehouse structure at 1070 Broadway.
2. Variance to reconstruct a garage that is 1'-0" from the side
property line (4'-0" required) at 309 Chapin Lane (APN 028-
311-060), zoned R-1, by Dennis and Sally Loucks (property
owners and applicants).
3. Variance to construct a second required parking space (a
carport) along the side of the house at 1469 Benito Avenue
which is 3'-0" from the side property line (4'-0" required)
(APN 027-182-060), zoned R-1, by Randy and Valerie Gibbs
(property owners and applicants).
4. Variance to allow a 4,040 SF two-story addition to the
athletic club at 1730 Rollins Road and place 14 of the
required parking spaces on a separate lot behind the club
(also owned by the applicant) and is therefore considered to
be off -site parking (APN 025-261-160 and 025-262-280), zoned
M-1, by Arthur Michael (applicant and property owner).
5. Special Permit Amendment to construct a 4,040 SF, two-story
addition to the athletic club at 1730 Rollins Road (APN
025-261-160 and 025-262-280), zoned M-1, by Arthur Michael
(applicant and property owner) (CONTINUED FROM 7/22/85).
6. Special Permit to allow a polygraph examiner school at 1209
Donnelly Avenue in Sub -Area A of the Burlingame Avenue
Commercial Area which does not operate outside of normal
retail hours as required (APN 029-152-320), zoned C-1, by
Los Angeles Institute of Polygraph (applicant) with David

7. Special Permit to allow a balloon and gift shop at 1199
Broadway (APN 026-192-220), zoned C-1, by Casey Wulfert
