1. Public Forum to discuss the proposed six story retail/
office building at 1800 E1 Camino Real.
VI. ITEMS FOR ACTION
2. Fence Exception to allow a rear yard fence at 38 Dwight
Road to exceed 6'-0" in height (6'-6" is proposed) (APN
029-301-010), zoned R-1, by Raul and Miriam Ann Vasquez
(applicants and property owners).
3. Variance to allow a portable pool at 38 Dwight Road to be
located 2'-0" from the rear property line (4'-0" minimum is
required) (APN 029-301-010), zoned R-1, by Raul and Miriam
Ann Vasquez (applicants and property owners).
4. Four Special Permits to construct a two story garage/
storage structure at 1237 Cortez Avenue (APN 026-156-030),
zoned R-1, by Verne and Dorothy Skjonsby (applicants and
property owners):
a. to exceed 14' in height (20'-4" proposed)
b. to exceed 10' at plateline (15' maximum proposed)
c. to exceed 500 SF in gross area (885 SF proposed)
d. storage area to exceed 10% of gross square footage of
main structure (240 SF allowed; 430 SF proposed)
5. Amendment of the original 1/25/71 Special Permit to install
a security booth at the gas station at 260 E1 Camino Real

6. Sign Exception for a Master Sign Permit at 1209-1217

9. Request for one year extension of the Condominium Permit
for 12 units at 524 Primrose Road.

10. Special Permit to install a 12' diameter satellite antenna

11. Condominium Permit to construct six units at 1437 El Camino
Real (APN 026-013-100), zoned R-3, by Manou Movassate
(property owner and applicant).
12. Variance to allow bay windows at the second and third floor
levels of the proposed condominium at 1437 E1 Camino Real
to extend one to two feet into the required side yard area
(APN 026-013-100), zoned R-3, by Manou Movassate (oroperty
owner and applicant).
13. Tentative Condominium Map for six units at 1437 E1 Camino
Real (Lot 11, Block 50, Easton Addition No. 4), by Dominion

14. Two Variances for a four unit apartment at 620 Peninsula
Avenue (APN 029-293-190), zoned R-3, by Mary Dunlap, et al
(designer) for Pak & Company (property owner):
a. to allow chimneys to project 2' into the required
7'-6" setback.
b. to allow one car to back out into the right-of-way.
15. Special Permit to allow a ±1,100 SF private post office
service at 1199 Broadway (APN 026-192-220), zoned C-1, by

owner).
16. Special Permit to allow an office addition at 865 Hinckley
Road which will cause total office area to exceed 20% of

18. Sign Exception for a proposed sign program for the Marriott

19. Special Permit to allow the retail sale of repair parts and
related equipment in conjunction with a repair service at
1722 Gilbreth Road (APN 024-403-420), zoned M-1, by Sears,

20. Special Permit to allow an existing office addition to
remain at 1728 Gilbreth Road where total office area
exceeds 20% of the gross floor area (APN 024-403-320),

Steven Barkoff (property owner).
21. Variance to allow an office addition to remain at 1728
Gilbreth Road which does not provide the amount of on -site
parking required for all floor areas (APN 024-403-320), by
