1. Special Permit to allow a 200 SF addition to a 400 SF
carport at 760 Walnut Avenue causing total area to exceed
500 SF (APN 028-141-300), zoned R-1, by J. D. McCarthy
(applicant) for James Popin (property owner).
2. General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation
of a portion of the property at 1221 Bayswater Avenue from
shopping and service commercial to high density residential
(APN 029-225-010/240), Lots 13 and 14, Block 8, Polo Field
Subdivision), by Bay Park Associates (applicant) with
William J. and Robert A. Gilmartin (property owners).
3. Rezone of a portion of the property at 1221 Bayswater
Avenue from C-1 (retail commercial) to R-4 (high density
residential (APN 029-255-010/240), Lots 13 and 14, Block 8,
Polo Field Subdivision), by Bay Park Associates (appli-
cant) with William J. and Robert A. Gilmartin (property
owners).
4. Two Special Permits for a 120 unit/130 bed senior
residential facility at 1221 Bayswater Avenue (APN 029-
225-010/020/030/050/240), by Hardison, Komatsu, Ivelich &
Tucker (architects) and Bay Park Associates (applicant)
with William J. and Robert A. Gilmartin (property owners):
A. To allow a group residential facility.
B. To exceed 35' in height.
5. Special Permit to allow Burlingame Home Video at 1460/1462
Burlingame Avenue to have a rooftop dish antenna (APN 029-
122-270/280), zoned C-1, by Gary Andrieni (applicant) with
Raimund Wurlitzer (property owner).

6. Special Permit and Variance to allow an office expansion at
1660 Rollins Road (APN 025-262-250), zoned M-1, by H. J.
Wintsch (applicant and property owner):
A. Special Permit to allow total office area to exceed
20% of the gross floor area.
B. Variance to allow a further reduction in the amount of
required landscaped area.
7. Special Permit and Variance to allow a car rental operation
in an existing hotel at 1250 Bayshore Highway (APN 026-
142-080), zoned C-4, by California Compacts Rent A Car
(applicant) with Ramada Inns, Inc. (property owner):
A. Special Permit to allow an auto rental operation in the
C-4 District.
B. Parking Variance for 9 parking spaces.
8. Recommendation to the City Council for possible revisions
to the Zoning Ordinance affecting restaurants on Broadway
and Burlingame Avenue.
VI. ITEMS FOR STUDY
9. Special Permit and Variance for a 7-car carport at
300 Occidental Avenue (APN 028-285-150), zoned R-1, by Bob
Onorato (architect) with Grover Cleveland (applicant and
property owner):
A. Special Permit to allow construction of an accessory
structure which exceeds 500 SF.
B. Variance for a structure which is built to side and
rear property lines but is not entirely located within
the rear 30% of the lot.
10. Condominium Permit to construct a 15 unit structure at
141 E1 Camino Real (APN 028-292-280), zoned R-3, by Tim
Brosnan for Trico Pacific (applicant and property owner).
11. Tentative Condominium Map and Subdivision Map.for 15
condominium units at 141 E1 Camino Real (Lots 1 and 2,
Block 5, Burlingame Park No. 2), by Hugh Anton (surveyor)
for Tim Brosnan (property owner).
