1. Sign Exception to install an illuminated sign with 52 SF per face within an
existing frame on the 20' high Hyatt Cinema sign at 1302 Bayshore Highway
(APN 026-113-480), zoned C-4, by Bruce R. Quie of the Frog Pond Hot Tub and
Sauna Club (applicant) with Ventures XIV (property owner).
2. Amendment of November 24, 1980 Special Permit to allow Excursions in Learning
to operate an infant/toddler program (rather than a training program for
handicapped children) at Roosevelt School (APN 027-340-150), zoned R-1, by
Kristen Santin (applicant) with the Burlingame School District (property
owner) .
VI. APPLICATIONS FOR STUDY
3. Amendment of April 23, 1979 and June 18, 1979 Special Permit conditions that
44 parking spaces "be striped on the property (at 1007-1015 Rollins Road and
1008 Carolan Avenue) and designated for employee parking": request by Michael R.
Harvey that this requirement be reduced to 14 spaces.
4. Condominium Permit to construct a 6 unit project at 25 Highland Avenue (APN
029-241-090), zoned R-4, by Hans Kastrup of Bay Investors (applicant) with
Inez Lindquist (property owner).
5. Tentative Subdivision Map for 6 condominium units at 25 Highland Avenue, zoned
R-4, by Louis Arata for Hans Kastrup of Bay Investors.
6. Special Permit to operate an automotive repair shop for imported cars at
60 Star Way (APN 026-131-190), zoned M-1, by Mike 0"Donnell of Michael's
Import Service (applicant) with Nicholas A. Crisafi (property owner).
7. Special Permit to operate a snack bar in the M-1 District at 851 Burlway Road
(APN 026-112-130), by Harry A. Rose of La Petite Cafe (applicant) with Jesse D.
Yohanan of Westates Management (property owner).
8. Anthony Schools, 1101 Juanita Avenue (APN 026-092-010): determination whether
the proposed real estate training program is similar to those uses permitted
in the C-2 District (Code Sec. 25.38.020) and unlikely to be obnoxious or
detrimental to its immediate neighborhood.
9. Special Permit to operate a car rental agency in the M-1 District at 1299
Bayshore Highway (APN 026-141-020), by Dallas R. Ward of First New Hampshire
Corporation dba Travl-Car Rent-A-Car (applicant) with Ventures XIV (property
owner).

12. Tentative Subdivision Map for 18 condominium units at 1500 Willow Avenue,
zoned R-3, by Transamerica Engineers & Associates for Gilco Construction Company.
