July 9, 1979
I. Amendment of the 1968 City condition that an 18' height limit be established
for Mills Canyon Court properties, to allow the construction of one single
family home on Lot 1 (APN 025-370-010), zoned R-1, by Showki K. Jadallah.
2. Variance from Code Sec. 25.62.040(b) to construct a single family house to
within 15' of the Martinez Drive property line, property at 2727 Martinez
Drive (APN 025-023-060/080), zoned R-1, by William O'Brien.
3. Tentative Parcel Map to resubdivide Lot 6, an existing 10' wide public right-
of-way and a portion of Lot 7, Block 34, Mills Estate No. 11, property at
2727 Martinez Drive, by Transamerican Engineers for William O'Brien and the
City of Burlingame.
4. Draft Environmental Impact Report, EIR-52P, for the proposed Holiday Inn at
600 Airport Boulevard, prepared by Earth Metrics Incorporated for the City
of Burlingame.
5. Special Permit to operate a private preschool program at Washington Primary
School, 801 Howard Avenue (APN 029-271-200), zoned R-1 and R-3, by Nanci Roth
Lawson of A Child's Way Early Learning Center (applicant) with the Burlingame
School District (property owner) (ND-214P posted July 1.0, 1979).
6. Dynique of San Francisco's proposed training programs, seminars and business
presentations at 330 Primrose Road (APN 029-152-240): determination whether
the seminars and business presentations in the Crocker Bank Building are
similar to those uses permitted in the C-1 District (Code Sec. 22.36.020) and
unlikely to be obnoxious or detrimental to the immediate neighborhood (ND-215P
posted July 10, 1979).
7. C.A. School of Real Estate's proposed classes at 1450 Broadway (APN 026-096-160):
determination whether the school is similar to those uses permitted in the C-1
District (Code Sec. 22.36.020) and unlikely to be obnoxious or detrimental to
its immediate neighborhood (ND-216P posted July 10, 1979).
8. Condominium Permit for Carmel Garden, an 18 unit condominium at 977 E1 Camino
Real (APN 028-131-010/020/030), zoned R-3, by Zev Ben -Simon (EIR-50P certified
by Council Res. No. 14-79 April 2, 1979).
9. Tentative Subdivision Map for 18 condominium units at 977 E1 Camino Real, zoned

12. Amendment of June 25, 1979 special permit condition requiring roof height of
