1. Variance from Code Sec. 25.50.080 to add a second floor to a house with
l'-6" side yard; property at 1556 Columbus Avenue (APN 027-141-320), zoned
R-1, by Margaret J. Marino (continued from May 30, 1979).
2. Variance from Code Sec. 25.50.080 to lengthen the existing one car garage
at 139 Occidental Avenue (APN 028-314-130), and construct a bedroom with
bath over the new addition which will be within l'-5" of the side property
line; property zoned R-1, by Jeffrey and Jan Barker.
3. Variance from Code Sec. 25.70.030 to add two bedrooms and one bath to a
house with only one covered parking space; property at 437 Dwight Road
(APN 029-166-110), zoned R-1, by Tim Costello.
4. Special Permit to construct an office project in the Burlingame Avenue
Off -Street Parking District at 1440 Chapin Avenue (APN 029-121-300/310/320),
zoned C-1, by Mark A. Coffey of Annco Properties Inc. (applicant) with
Carl F. Roepke (property owner) (ND-209P posted 5/17/79) (continued from
May 30, 1979).
5. Variance from Code Sec. 25.70.020 to allow 19'-6" parking stalls (rather
than 20'-0") and 23'-6" circulation aisles (rather than 24'-0") in the
basement parking garage at 1440 Chapin Avenue (APN 029-121-300/310/320),
zoned C-1, by Mark A. Coffey of Annco Properties Inc. (applicant) with
Carl F. Roepke (property owner) (continued from May 30, 1979).
6. Audio/visual recording studio with live public entertainment several evenings
each week, 1157 California Drive: determination whether the recording studio
and its associated public performances are similar to those uses permitted
in either the C-1 or C-2 Districts (Code Sections 25.36.020 and 25.38.020)
and unlikely to be obnoxious or detrimental to the neighborhood in which
Encore Productions would be located.
7. Variance from Code Sec. 25.50.040 to reestablish a use in the nonconforming
building which has been vacant for more than 6 months (an audio/visual
recording studio and public entertainments are proposed), 1157 California
Drive (APN 026-191-030/040), zoned C-2, by Terry Merritt of Encore Productions
(applicant) with Christine T. Masserdotti/Dillon (property owner) (application
amended since November 27, 1978 hearing) (ND-183P posted 11/14/78).

parking lot is presently being operated" (at 615 Airport Boulevard).
10. Amendment of October 25, 1978 special permit for Prime Time Racquet Club,
1730 Rollins Road: June 2, 1979 letter from Jim Loustalot and Nick Bichard
requesting the club be allowed to sell beer and wine.
