APPLICATIONS:
1. Special Permit to allow rebuildingq a gasoline service station
with a conveyor car wash in an M-1 district at 1000 Broadway by
Atlantic Richfield Company
a. Review circulation diagram and site plan
b. Requires Environmental Impact Report per Resolution No. 26-73
Considerations: Noise, vapor recovery, wash water recycling
and wastewater, appearance, vehicle circulation
and parking and identification signs.
C. Schedule for public hearing on Wednesday, May 30, 1973 to
permit preparation of EIR to accompany application.
2. Reclassification of Lots 2-6 inclusive in Block 23 Subdivision of
Block 22 and 24 and resubdivision of Block 23, Town of Burlingaste
from R-1 to R-3A by petition of all the property owners and
represented by Leon Richardson
a. Review copy of petition and location diagram
b. Consider minor effect of this change in zoning district.
c. Schedule for hearing April 23, 1973 along with draft
EnvironmgAtal Impact Report (in preparation)
d. Specify i tormation desired to make findings of fact.
e.- 1 câșlutidh'for recommendation to City Council can be prepared
fbk action at May 30 meeting.
3. Reclassification of adjacent Lots 1 and lA in the same block from
R-1 to R-3A on the initiative of the Burlingame City Planning
.Commission.
Schedule this application for consideration along with owner
initiated application for Lots 2-6 inclusive.

7. City Council Referral - Conversion of Apartment Buildings to
Condominiums. Reference preliminary staff report on this subject.

a. Shall design review procedures be established?
b. Should signs larger than 32 square feet or up to 50,65. or
100 square feet be permitted as ministerial acts?
c. Or should sign code requirement for permit from Planning
Commission be rescinded?
d. Who should handle sign applications?
