1. Tentative and Final Map to combine Lot 24 and portions of

Transamerican Engineers for George Rescalvo (applicant).
2. Request for a one year extension of the Planning approvals
for the 559 room hotel at 350 Airport Boulevard by Carruf
Corporation.
3. Two Variances for a second floor addition to the home at
1132 Hamilton Lane (APN 025-232-310), zoned R-1, by Gerald
and Joan Woods (applicants and property owners):
A. 42.9% lot coverage proposed; 40% maximum allowed.
B. one on -site parking space proposed; two required.
4. Special Permit to allow a proposed garage to be 18'-3" high
(14' permitted) at 926 Chula Vista Avenue (APN 026-203-
110), zoned R-3, by Richard Garban (applicant and property
owner).
5. Tentative and Final Map for the resubdivision of Lots 1 and
2, Block 8, Burlingame Land Subdivision, 1440 Columbus
Avenue, P.M. 87-2, by Kavanagh Engineering for Robert Lehto
(applicant).
6. Special Permit Amendment to allow an existing private school
to expand into two additional classrooms at 2109 Broadway
(APN 027-340-150), zoned R-1, by Larry Krusemark for True
Learning Center (applicant) with Burlingame Elementary
School District (property owner).
7. Special Permit Amendment for a dry cleaning service with
on -site processing to allow a maximum of 10 employees on
site instead of the seven approved at 1883 E1 Camino Real
(APN 025-122-010), zoned C-1, by Howard Hill (applicant) and
California First Bank (property owner) (continued from
May 11, 1987).

Drive, formerly retail space, to be used for a restaurant
and catering business without providing additional parking
as required (APN 029-053-140), zoned C-2, by Kojiro and
Sandra Okada (applicants).

10. Fence Exception for an 8 foot high fan trellis and a 9'
lattice trellis (6' maximum fence height allowed) at 1400

and Dawn Blanken (applicants and property owners).
11. Three Variances to permit an apartment, built without a
permit, to remain at 1225 Capuchino Avenue (APN 026-096-
090), zoned R-3, by Muriel F. Caldwell (applicant and
property owner):
A. parking variance to maintain existing parking; two
additional spaces required.
B. the apartment is built within the required rear and
side yards.
C. only one building used for residential purposes is
allowed on any one lot; the apartment is in an
accessory building.
12. Use Determination to determine whether an addition at
1611 Willow Avenue is a second unit (APN 028-142-350), zoned
R-1, by Ronald Gonzalez for Dr. Albert De Ranieri (applicant
and property owner).
13. Special Permit to construct a 256 SF storage shed at
1453 Benito Avenue which exceeds 10% of the floor area of
the main structure and contains a window closer than 10' to

14. Special Permit to allow a 176 SF snack shop at a gas station

(property owner).
15. Special Permit to allow a temporary warehouse clearance sale
at 405 Beach Road in the M-1 zone (APN 026-331-480), by
K & M Mostny, Inc. (applicant) with Golden Gate Drywall
(property owner).
