1. Variance from both lot coverage and parking requirements for
a family room/bedroom addition at 1137 Hamilton Lane (APN
025-232-130), zoned R-1, by Robert Fiorito (property owner
and applicant).
2. Sign Exception to allow number of signs to exceed that
permitted by code and to allow a pole sign at 1100 Broadway
(APN 026-093-040), zoned C-1, by Permit Service Company
(applicant) and Desert Petroleum, Inc. (property owner)
(CONTINUED FROM APRIL 27, 1987 MEETING).
3. Special Permit Amendment for a dry cleaning service with
on -site processing to allow a maximum of 10 employees on
site instead of the seven approved at 1883 E1 Camino Real
(APN 025-122-010), zoned C-1, by Howard Hill (applicant) and
California First Bank (property owner) (CONTINUED TO MAY 26,
1987).
4. Special Permit Amendment to allow expansion of the existing
specialty grocery operation to include take-out food service
at 346 Lorton Avenue (APN 029-153-020), zoned C-2, by Parham
Noori Esfandiari (applicant) and Mrs. Juanita Garbuio
(property owner).
5. Special Permit to allow an automobile body painting and
repair operation at 1305 North Carolan Avenue (APN 026-131-
010), zoned M-1, by Broadway Auto Body (applicant) and B&S
Company (property owner).
6. Special Permit to allow a car rental operation at 856 Mitten
Road (APN 024-401-520), zoned M-1, by John Ko of American
International Rent A Car (applicant) and Jane Molyneux and
Hugh Klebahn, Trs, c/o Hanford -Freund & Co. (property
owners) (CONTINUED BY APPLICANT).
7. Review of the lighting plan for Putnam -Mazda dealership at

9. Special Permit to allow a proposed garage to be 18'-3" high
(14' permitted) at 926 Chula Vista Avenue (APN 026-203-110),
zoned R-3, by Richard Garban (applicant and property
owner).
10. Parking Variance to allow a 787 SF space at 723 California
Drive, formerly retail space, to be used for a restaurant
and catering business without providing additional parking
as required (APN 029-053-140), zoned C-2, by Kojiro and
Sandra Okada (applicants).
11. Tentative and Final Map for the resubdivision of Lots 1 and
2, Block 8, Burlingame Land Subdivision, 1440 Columbus
Avenue, P.M. 87-2, by Kavanaugh Engineering for Frank and
Bertha Holub (applicants and property owners).
12. Tentative and Final Map to combine Lot 24 and portions of
