1. Special Permit to use the rear half of the kindergarten
building at Roosevelt School, 1151 Vancouver Avenue (APN
027-340-150), zoned R-1, for childbirth preparation classes
and have an office, by Kathryn Newburn (applicant) and
Burlingame Elementary School District (property owner).
2. Special Permit to allow a 20.8 SF satellite dish (overall
height 4.51) on the roof of the building at 1214 Burlingame
Avenue (APN 029-152-330), zoned C-1, by Jeff May (applicant)
and Archie & Olive Offield (property owners).
3. Sign Exception to allow number of signs to exceed that
permitted by code and to allow a pole sign at 1100 Broadway
(APN 026-093-040), zoned C-1, by Permit Service Company
(applicant) and Desert Petroleum, Inc. (property owner)
(CONTINUED TO MAY 11, 1987 MEETING).
4. Review of Lighting Plan for new four story parking structure
at 150 California Drive (APN 029-233-010/060/070), zoned
C-2, Sub Area D, by Blake Mason of ARCH-1 (applicant) and
Arata Properties (property owner).
5. Special Permit to allow used car sales at 1028 Carolan
Avenue (APN 026-240-290), zoned M-1, by Remi Seremi and
Wallace Friesen (applicants) and Eva Person (property
owner).

6. Special Permit amendment for a dry cleaning service with
on -site processing to allow a maximum of 10 employees on
site instead of the seven approved at 1883 El Camino Real
(APN 025-122-010), zoned C-1, by Howard Hill (applicant) and
California First Bank (property owner).

7. Special Permit Amendment to allow expansion of the existing
specialty grocery operation to include take-out food service
at 346 Lorton Avenue (APN 029-153-020), zoned C-2, by Parham
Noori Esfandiari (applicant) and Mrs. Juanita Garbuio
(property owner).
8. Special Permit to allow an automobile body painting and
repair operation at 1305 North Carolan Avenue (APN 026-131-
010), zoned M-1, by Broadway Auto Body (applicant) and B&S
Company (property owner).
9. Special Permit to allow a car rental operation at 856 Mitten
Road (APN 024-401-520), zoned M-1, by John Ko of American
International Rent A Car (applicant) and Jane Molyneux and
Hugh Klebahn, TRS, c/o Hanford -Freund & Co. (property
owners).
