1. Special Permit to allow a children's theater training
operation in a 1,449 SF portion of the former Hoover
Elementary School at 2220 Summit Drive (APN 027-271-090),
zoned R-1, by Phillip Jarosz (applicant) with Burlingame
Elementary School District (property owner) (CONTINUED TO
THE MEETING OF FEBRUARY 23, 1987 AT APPLICANT'S REQUEST).
2. Two Special Permits to allow a 460 SF detached accessory
structure at 2845 Rivera Drive (APN 025-031-140), zoned R-1,
by John Marsh (property owner and applicant):
A. Four foot separation from other structure not
maintained;
B. 460 SF of storage area proposed (345 SF permitted).
3. Special Permit to allow a 6 foot rooftop dish antenna at
1440 Chapin Avenue (APN 029-121-300/310/320), zoned C-1, by
Holt & Hinshaw Architects (applicant) for Patson Development
Co. (property owner).
4. Sign Exception to allow two more ground signs at 150 Anza
Boulevard (APN 026-342-220/230/240), zoned C-4, by Young
Electric Sign Co. (applicant) with United Suites Development
Co. (property owner).
5. Request for a one year extension of the Use Permit for a
110 unit elderly residential care facility at 1221 Bayswater
Avenue.
VI. MINOR MODIFICATIONS
6. Minor Modification to allow two bedrooms in an attic area to
be added to the home at 2705 Adeline Drive where on -site
parking meets code standards for only one car (APN 027-182-
460), zoned R-1, by John and Pamela Carmody (property owners
and applicants).
7. Minor Modification to allow a third bedroom to be added at
grade at the rear of the house at 1115 Eastmoor Road where
only one on -site parking space is provided (APN 025-241-
200), zoned R-1, by V. M. Swenson (property owner and
applicant).

8. Sign Exception to add a 16.5 SF double faced ground sign at
the main entrance to Peninsula Hospital, 1783 El Camino Real
(APN 025-123-100/130), unclassified land, by Mills -Peninsula
Hospitals (property owner and applicant).
9. Special Permit to allow self defense classes in a 1,600 SF
portion of an existing building within Sub -Area D, 211 West
Lane (APN 029-213-030), zoned C-2, by Richard Schiller and
Frank Bianchi (applicants) with David Kimmel et al, c/o C&D
Properties (property owner).
