1. Resolution recommending EIR-66P for the sanitary landfill
sealing, leachate barrier, public access and Airport
Boulevard reconstruction and expansion to the City
Council.
2. Resolution accepting an existing nonconforming garage with
conditions which was constructed at 1136 Balboa Avenue.
3. Use Determination to consider whether an existing second
floor storage area at 1521 Ralston Avenue which has no
interior connection to the existing home should be reviewed
as an accessory structure, by Dave and Jean Lombardi
(property owners).
4. Special Permit Amendment to allow an approved balloon/gift
shop to move to a slightly larger shop within the same
retail commercial building at 1199 Broadway (APN 026-
192-220), zoned C-1, by Casey Wulfert (applicant) with
Garbis Bezdjian (property owner).
5. Request for a one year extension of the February 6, 1984
Special Permit for a US Sprint training center at
866 Malcolm Road.
6. Sign Exception to allow signs at 1007 Rollins Road/1008
Carolan Avenue which exceed permitted signage (APN 026-
240-360), zoned M-1, by Mike Harvey for Mike Harvey Toyota
(applicant and property owner) (continued from 12/8/86).
7. Two Special Permits to allow a dish antenna and to allow
classes at 1501 Bayshore Highway which is zoned M-1 (APN
026-321-440), by Joe Ferem for A. L. Williams Co.
(applicant) with Mahler Investors Ltd. (property owner).
8. Special Permit for a vocational training center at 1308
Bayshore Highway (APN 026-113-480), zoned C-4, by Clyde
Wilson (applicant) with Folson/Kimmel Joint Venture
(property owner).

9. Tentative and Final Parcel Map to divide Parcel E, Lot 12
and portion Lots 13 and 14, Block 6, Unit No. 3, Millsdale

VI. MINOR MODIFICATION
10. Minor Modification to allow a 620 SF second story addition
at 132 Channing Road which does not meet minimum side yard
and parking requirements (APN 029-283-210), by Jeffrey and
Clyde McFadden (property owners).

11. Special Permit to allow a children's theatre training
operation in a 1,449 SF portion of the former Hoover
Elementary School at 2220 Summit Drive (APN 027-271-090),
zoned R-1, by Phillip Jarosz (applicant) with Burlingame
Elementary School District (property owner).
12. Sign Exception to allow secondary frontage signs at 1420
Burlingame Avenue (APN 029-122-220), zoned C-1, by
Boardwalk Properties (applicant and property owner).
13. Special Permit to allow a specialty grocery shop in a
984 SF portion of the building at 346 Lorton Avenue (APN
029-153-020), zoned C-2, by Parham & Pedram
Noori-Esfandiari (applicants) with Juanita Garbuio
(property owner).
14. Parking Variance to allow a vacant building at 1209 Howard
Avenue to be used for office and retail uses without
providing on -site parking (APN 029-224-040), zoned C-1, by
India Club Inc. (applicant and property owner).
15. Three Variances and a Special Permit to add 3,391 SF of new
auto showroom area at 1025 Rollins Road (APN 026-240-300/
310/040), zoned M-1, by Mike Harvey Chevrolet/Oldsmobile
(applicant) with Alfred G. Molakidis and Wima & Alfred
Molakidis TR (property owners):
A. Variance to allow less than 10% landscaping on site
B. Variance to allow 19 parking spaces; 81 spaces
required
C. Variance to allow a 2'-0" front setback; 15' required
D. Special Permit to exceed 60% lot coverage;
68% proposed.
