AWARDING CONTRACT
TREE PRUNING PROJECT - PROJECT #425
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for Tree Pruning, Project #425, and
WHEREAS, on October 6, 1984, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Parks, and
WHEREAS, DAVEY TREE SURGERY submitted the lowest bid for
the job in the amount of $35/man hour, not to exceed $40,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED,
that the bid of DAVEY TREE SURGERY COMPANY for said Project 4425
be, and the same hereby is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve
the faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond required
to be furnished by the contractor.
