RESOLUTION NO. 5-84
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING INDUSTRIAL WASTE
DISCHARGE PERMIT FEES
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
WHEREAS, by Resolution #59-83 this Council adopted
regulations for sanitary sewer use, as required by the Regional
Water Quality Control Board; and
WHEREAS, as a part of the permit process under said
regulations, fees for industrial waste dischargers are to be
collected to pay for the cost of the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, the schedule set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached to this resolution is hereby adopted as the charges and
fees to be charged for industrial waste discharge permits issued
under the Ordinance Rules and Regulations of this City.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
16th day of January 1984, and was adopted thereafter
by the following vote:

EXHIBIT "A"
SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR INDUSTRIAL WASTE DISCHARGE PERMITS
Application and processing fee $ 40.00
Annual Permit Fee.
Heavy Dischargers (contributes over 150 lbs./day of B.O.D. or S.S. to
sewer) 500.00
Moderate Dischargers (contributes between 30 and 150 lbs./day B.O.D.
or S.S. to sewer) 250.00
Light Dischargers (contributes between 15 and 30 lbs./day B.O.D. or
S.S. to sewer) 125.00
Intermediate Discharger (contributes less than 15 lbs./day B.O.D. or
S.S. to sewer) but needs to be monitored 50.00
Annual Inspection Fee.
Composite sample @ $100 each Heavy 6/year
Moderate 3/year
Light 1/year
Grease trap or pretreatment inspection @ $25 each 3/year.
Outside laboratory tests for heavy metals, etc., billed at cost.
