RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIAL PERMIT
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
WHEREAS, application has been made for a special permit

WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to Council and
;a hearing thereon held on November 18 ,19e5
I� NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by
(this Council that said special permit is approved, subject to the
conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
It is further directed that a certifed copy of this
resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of
San Mateo.

RESOLUTION 125-85
Conditions of approval, special permit,
Southwest Leasing & Rental, Inc.,
1608 Gilbreth Road (effective
November 19, 1985)

1. that the conditions of the Chief Building Inspector's memo of
September 11, 1985, the Fire Marshal's memo of September 12, 1985
and the City Engineer's memo of October 8, 1985 shall be met;
2. that this use permit shall be limited to the leasing of automobiles
for a period of no less than 12 months and a business which
operates 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to
12:00 Noon Saturday, and employs no more than eight people, six of
whom will work on site at the same time;
3. that no more than four lease vehicles shall be parked on the site
at one time, all of which shall be stored inside;
4. that no cars shall be loaded or unloaded from trucks in the street
or on site at this location or on this or adjacent properties;
5. that only Southwest Leasing employee cars shall be parked in the
two stalls in front of the roll -up door which provides access to
this tenant's rented area, six spaces shall be designated for the
use of employees of this business and six of the reserved
designated parking stalls at the Hinckley Road side of the building
shall be removed, and the property owner shall remove the gasoline
pump at the rear of the building and restore the four parking
spaces serving it to public use;
6. that any changes in the operation of this business which will
exceed the limitations stated in the above conditions shall require
an amendment to this use permit; and
7., that this use permit shall be reviewed for compliance with the
conditions in nine months (July, 1986) and shall cease with the
termination of the adjacent athletic club use.
