AWARDING CONTRACT
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF
OF EXISTING TILE ROOF FIRE STATION 01, JOB 512
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids
for the Repair of Existing Tile Roof, Fire Station #1,
Job #512.
WHEREAS, on 9/24 1985 , all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, ACE ROOFING submitted
the lowest bid for the job in the amount of $ 27,288,00 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the
bid of ACE ROOFING for said project
in the amount of $27,288.00 be, and the same hereby is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for
the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby
is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said
contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and
materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, JUDITH A. MALFATTI, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 7tb day of October 1985, and
was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: AMSTRUP, BARTON, MANGINI, MARTIN, PAGLIARO
NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE

Gentlemen:
We have received satisfactory evidence of insurance, the necessary bonds
and signed contractual agreements for the above subject project. In accordance
with specifications, this letter will serve as your official notice to proceed
the work.
Specifications require that you start this project within i5
calendar days of the date of this letter or on Ortnhar 25
It is requested that you advise us 24 hours prior to starting work on
this project.
We hope we may have your full cooperation in completing this project.
