AWARDING CONTRACT
CAST IRON 54" FLAP GATES FOR CAROLAN AVE/MORRELL AVE ET AL
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 304
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids
for the Cast Iron 54" Flap Gates for Carolan Ave/Morrell Ave et al
Drainage Improvement Project 304
WHEREAS, on July 23, 1985 , all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, Waterman Industries, Inc. submitted
the lowest bid for the job in the amount of $ 8,216.00 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the
bid of Waterman Industries, Inc. for said Job 304
in the amount of $ 8,216.00 be, and the same hereby is accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for
the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby
is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said
contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and
materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, Judy Malfatti, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the 5th day of August ,198 5 , and
was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
