RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIAL PERMIT
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
that;
WHEREAS, application has been made for a special permit
)»Xx amendment to allow customer seating in the front
setback during operating hours at Ferial's Deli
at 340 Stanton Road (APN 026-302-510
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing
on said application on June 10 ,198 5 , at which
time said application was )0p)5XXX0M-X denied;
WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to Council and
a hearing thereon held on July 1 ,198 5 .
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by
;this Council that said special permit is approved, subject to the
conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
It is further directed that a certifed copy of this
'resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of

Conditions for special permit
amendment, Ferial's Deli,
840 Stanton Road (effective
July 2, 1985)

1. that two tables and six chairs from those allowed by the October 17, 1982
use permit inside the deli be allowed to be placed on the paved area at the
rear of the front setback adjacent to but not blocking safe egress to and
from the deli entrance;
2. that these two tables and six chairs shall be placed in this area between
10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. daily when the weather is suitable;
3. that the applicants (tenant and property owner) shall apply for a sign permit
within 30 days of final action on this request;
4. that a trash container be placed outside adjacent to the entrance where
the tables are placed; and
5. that this use permit be reviewed in six months (December, 1985) for
compliance with all of its conditions.
